Kim Kardashian arrived in Lagos this evening and says she's  very excited about her mission which is to co-host Dare Art Alade's love concert tagged Love: Like A Movie.

She tweeted: “Just landed in Lagos! 1st time in Nigeria, yay! Catch me 2mrw as I co-host the red carpet with @Darey at #LLAM 6pm at Eko Hotel!!

GOLDIE'S HUSBAND SURFACES, SAYS HIS LATE WIFE DESPISED PREZZO

Shock and horror. The mystery of Goldie's sudden death has turned into a posthumous drama of sorts as we now hear that the star everyone thought was on the way to the alter with Kenyan rapper Prezzo was actually another man's wife! Mr Harvey, a British telecoms engineer who met and married Goldie in Nigeria in December 2005 and then promptly relegated himself to the background of her career has finally surfaced. 

Interestingly, the marriage was very much alive with the couple spending a quality Christmas together last December at his base in Malaysia as they were even planning to start a family with children. Mrs Goldie Harvey also made hubby Andrew an Admin of both her Facebook and Twitter handles, for crying out loud. It is through these social networking channels that he eventually made his grand entrance. And the understanding Oyimbo graciously absorbed all the Goldie-Prezzo Big Brother and post-Big Brother shenanigans as a mere media circus and even reveals that Goldie actually ended up despising Prezzo because he was manipulative and milked all the media attention he could get. 

Another crucial factor that jumps out in the exclusive interview just published by NET is that contrary to some over-zealous journalists and bloggers who wanted to "protect" Goldie from speculation that she may have dabbled into drugs and that her death may have been dope-related is that the star did not have any underlying health issues... that caused her to just drop dead in a minute. Some media reports have tendered a condition described as "Pulmonary embolism" as the cause of her death. Mr Harvey reveals that he had been speaking with Goldie after she arrived in Nigeria from LA shortly before tragedy struck. We all now await the results of the autopsy.

GOLDIE UPDATE: SHE WAS ALREADY DEAD ON ARRIVAL AT HOSPITAL

Contrary to earlier reports about the sudden death of Goldie Harvey, we now know that the star who reportedly slumped at her Park View Ikoyi home hours after returning from LA was already dead by the time her close pal Denrele Edun got her to the Reddington hospital on the Victoria Island in a desperate attempt to save her life.

Somehow the small detail that the singer was already lifeless on arrival at the clinic was missed my the viral news break. In an apparent attempt to set the records straight and help absolve the Reddington hospital of any failings, a  Cool FM Lagos presenter Namdi Nwabasili who claims to have gone to the hospital a few hours after the news broke twitted: “She was brought in at 7:55 DEAD! Pls stop the Fucking Rumours! Reddington hospital was not to blame!” 

Other tweets he posted on his handle @N6OFLIFE read:

“Can’t bear to see someone so young and so beautiful lying down on a slab lifeless!

“Reddington hospital! Even the doctor is Crying! So Many Questions! An autopsy wil tell us better!

JIM IYKE GETS AFRICAN ACHIEVERS AWARD

Nollywood enigma Jim Iyke has been nominated by the African Achievers Awards panel for a gong at their 2013 event billed for 23 February in Nairobi, Kenya.

The popular Nigerian film icon, entrepreneur and philanthropist is being honored in the category of African Entrepreneur Actor of The Year. The African Achievers Awards  is aimed at recognizing individuals and organizations that have distinguished themselves by their contributions towards the growth and development of Africa in order to motivate all African leaders and prospective leaders as well as youths.

Previous African Achievers Award recipients include: Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu, Rt. Hon. Joyce Banda (President of Malawi), Hon. Thokhozani Khupe (Deputy Prime Minister of Zimbabwe), Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN, (Governor of Lagos State of Nigeria).

PREZZO DEVASTATED, HEADS FOR NIGERIA TO CONSOLE GOLDIE'S FAMILY

Kenyan singer Prezzo famously linked romantically with late Goldie is said to be devastated by news of her death and headed straight for Nigeria the moment a dj friend informed him of the news on Valentine's Thursday. According to NET Prezzo's mother confirmed the star who became romantically linked with Goldie while they were both in the Big Brother house had caught a flight immediately he got the heartbreaking news to go and console her family. There had been speculation in the media that marriage was on the cards for the two love birds sometime later in the year.

MAJID MICHEL COMES TO TINSEL

I'm hearing that top Ghanaian movie star Majid Michel has taken up a role in the Nigerian super soap TINSEL. Reports say he has already wrapped up filming of his first appearances that will be screened from Tuesday 19 February 2013.
