New Nollywood film AMINA Premiers in London 17 October

The world premier of new Nollywood film AMINA starring Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Van Vicker has been billed for Wednesday 17th October 2012 at the London Empire Cinema, Leicester Square. Produced and directed by Christian Ashaiku, other leading cast include co-producer cum actor Wil Johnson, Alison Caroll and Vincent Regan.

Pocket sized Nollywood star Chinedu Ikediezie better known as Paw Paw has cleared the air over widespread speculation that the baby he's holding in this picture is his by his bride of one year Nneoma Hope Nwajah. He states categorically that the child belongs to a fan and the photo was taken way back in 2008. "We need to settle down before making babies", he declared adding that his wife recently graduated from a Fashion institute and eye witnesses could confirm she was neither pregnant nor nursing. Yvonne Nelson At War With Close Pal Over Ice Prince As Pal Reveals The Actress Lives With Parents In Rented Accommodation

I'm just gathering from trusted sources that Ghallywood star Yvonne Nelson is in the middle of a serious beef with a one-time close pal fellow Ghanaian Mzbel over her crush for hunky Nigerian rapper Ice Prince. According to the sources, Nelson fancies the pants off the multiple award winning  musician and somehow this became the subject of discussion (lets not say gossip) between singer Mzbel and a mutual friend she shares with Nelson. In a strange twist however, the mutual friend who has not been named allegedly later  recounted the chat she had with Mzbel  to Nelson in such a way that Mzbel was portrayed as being envious of Nelson an idea that Mzbel categorically denies. As a result I'm hearing that quite a few unpublishable words have been exchanged between the two high profile celebrities. One of the missiles that was fired in the bitching exchange is the shocking revelation that the heavily hyped and apparently successful Yvonne Nelson still lives with her parents in rented accommodation and the boutique she brags about owning is no more than a container shed! Cut a long story short, Mzbel attempted to dowse the fire but she hit a brick wall as Nelson reportedly recorded her telephone call and then broadcast it via BBM. The recording I gather became public property to the point that some mischievous people were using it as ring tone. I'm still trying to contact Ice Prince himself to ascertain whether or not  he is aware of Yvonne Nelson's crush on him and the third world war it is causing in Ghana.

Wande Coal's "Go Low" video banned by NBC but...

Wande Coal's first video on the MAVIN label "Go Low" has been hit with a partial broadcasting ban. Nigeria's Broadcasting Commission has ordered all local television stations to remove the clip from their play lists because it shows "too much nudity". However, the limited ban leaves the airwaves and the other lanes of the information highway wide open for channels such as MTV-Base, Channel O, Sound City etc to keep showing the video. Are the NBC having a laugh? Or what? Although some critics believe the single itself is actually low down on the ratings scale, the video shows nothing that can be deemed X-rated in modern terms and then the feeble and rather prudish ban which doesn't touch those who really promote it is nothing but a joke. That's why I'm laughing.... He! He! He!

Thick-skinned Linda Ikeji rattled by RMD

Nigeria's most popular blogger Linda Ikeji has listed her stand-off with Nollywood star Richard Mofe-Damijo as one of her worst experiences in her on-line career. The former model who went into blogging four years ago told Toolz of Ndani TV that she quit modelling at the age of twenty-four because she felt too old and overwhelmed by younger talents. Ikeji who claims to be raking in millions from lucrative advertising deals on her blog and the actor aka RMD who is now a commissioner in his home State of Delta were locked in a fierce battle of words on Twitter after she mentioned on his last birthday that he had acquired a N250m mansion.  She told her interviewer that despite her "thick skinned" capacity to laugh off criticisms, she now desists from revealing too much about her personal life on her blog.

The blog which went live barely an hour ago will cover everything African and unlike the Spy which was 99.% written by yours truly, the contents of UNTAMED will be written by various correspondents and contributing journalists and bloggers. Nollywood murder scandal: Did Rich Oganiru poison his late wife?

Fresh details concerning the allegation of murder against Nollywood star Rich Oganiru have emerged. Reports have it that the actor's late wife had just undergone surgery for fibroid before suddenly dying at home in the care of her husband. According to a version, the actor may have administered his convalescing wife with a lethal drug with to finish her off in order to inherit the woman's wealth. I'm gathering that the late millionaire's relatives claim that the Oganiru had already started appropriating to himself some properties belonging to his late wife prior to her death. In other words, even though the star has been released on police bail pending further investigations, his in-laws are adamant that he has a case to answer.
