I'm hearing that Nicki Minaj has been offered $200,000 (N31 Million) to perform at Calabar Carnival festival in Nigeria. Tagged "Africa's Biggest Street Party", the month-long event was created as part of the vision of making the Cross River State the number one tourist destination for Nigerians and tourists from all over the world. It has showcased the cultural mosaic of the Nigerian people as a whole, entertained millions of spectators whilst boosting industry for all stakeholders. The carnival begins on 1st of December till 31st December.

He calmly denied ever being a member of the ‘secret organization’ but we can’t help but wonder why he was even asked the question.

ARE CRACKS DEVELOPING IN INI EDO'S MARRIAGE?

If what gossip mongers are revealing to Nigeriafilms.com is anything to go by, then all may not be too well in the marriage of reportedly pregnant Nollywood actress, Ini Edo and her husband of four years, Philip Ehiagwina. 

What an olofofo, who claimed to be close to Ini Edo divulged to Nigeriafilms.com seems very disturbing. Some gossip merchants swore that he (Philip) depends on the sultry actress to survive. 

The latest that we are hearing about the couple, who attended a fashion show in the US together recently, is that there is an alleged crack in their four years old marriage.

According to a bird in the know, Philip allegedly called the attention of his wife that his people (family members) are complaining about news they hear about her. As the tale bearer told us, Ini reportedly replied her handsome hubby to leave her alone and let her be. 

You think she stopped there? The amebor said Ini Edo then reportedly told Philip to walk out of the marriage if he is tired of her and the news his people are hearing about her. We also learnt from another tale bearer that Philip reportedly called some of Ini's friends to inform them of what his wife told him. The olofofo then said that their marriage is just like a time bomb now waiting to explode.

We've gathered other details about the marriage, but those are matters for another day. We hope this gist is not true because we do not subscribe to marriage break-ups in Nollywood. We have had enough marriage break-ups in the motion pictures industry in Nigeria.

NO CHARLY BOY FOR NIGERIAN IDOL 3 BUT IMAGINARY "LINDA" INSTEAD

I'm now hearing that the controversial Charly Boy will not be taking part as a judge in season three of Nigerian Idol but his alter ego - the mystery woman trapped inside the area father's imagination called LINDA will be on the Idol's judging panel. Charly boy as we know him was at loggerheads with Nigerian Idol producers over his fee. He wanted his pay to rise to thirty million naira but I'm assuming that Linda went behind his back and accepted far less than that .... So that we do not mock him for backing down after all the threats. Besides, Charly Boy cum Linda must know perfectly well that there are a thousand and one Nigerians out there who're far more qualified than him for that job. Well, if he didn't, I'm sure he does now, seeing that Nigerian Idol also refused to budge to his hard bargain. Having said that, do not be fooled. There's no legal entity known as Linda Oputa, and I can also safely say that the oh-so-charming alter ego Linda also has no bank account so the fee - whatever it is will at the end of the day be sitting in the smart arse of man's bank account. What this is all about is a ploy by Charly Boy to by hook, crook and any other means possible try to substantiate, validate and then justify this his multiple personality wahala. So all I can say is save yourself the trouble, nobody really cares how twisted you are. Its now obvious that you'll spend the whole of your life just trying to prove a point. How sad and what a waste.
