WANTED: DENRELE EDUN'S ACCOUNT OF GOLDIE'S VALENTINE'S DAY DATE WITH DEATH

In one of my reports on Goldie Harvey's sudden death, it was alleged that she may have died due to dope-related complications and I quizzically asked (in the report) if her best friend Denrele Edun - in whose arms she gave up the ghost before reaching the hospital - was aware or played any part in her alleged experimentation with drugs. 

It is now unraveling that I was not alone in that line of thought... We have all spoken: little-known hubby Andrew Harvey  and the other Mrs Harvey et al... Apparently now the late singer's family are rather eager to hear from the eccentric entertainer Denrele  and they want the police to start doing their job by making him talk so we can successfully fill-in the blank spaces in Goldie's tragic story. The following piece by Musa Jibril was culled from Entertainment Express and it sets the stage succinctly.

The last good glimpse Nigerians had of Goldie was of her photos on the red carpet of the 55th Grammy Awards, where she appeared as a woman full of life. Her death four days later on Valentine’s Day was one hell of a shock for her fans, friends and family. Her demise evoked a volcano of mixed feeling as many haters took to the social media to further hex the soul of the deceased. In the wake of the Valentine’s Day tragedy, damning reports began to emerge: drugs, hedonism, a little-known marriage, and husband-snatching allegations.

Goldie’s untimely death stirred a storm of controversies that cannot simply be wished away. The big question revolves around her marriage. Before her death, if you’d ask showbiz followers about

According to MTO this woman is Rihanna's personal assistant on an errand for her bosslady and it seems she's been to fetch a handful of some white substance. And apparently after powdering up her nose, the birthday girl mistakenly tweets the damning exhibit. Lord have mercy!!!

Breaking News! Nollywood star Justus Esiri is gone

I'm just receiving the sad news that Nollywood veteran actor Justus Esiri has passed away. Esiri who is the father Mo'Hits and Mavin star Dr Sid reportedly died last nite but no further details were available at the time of this report.
Before the advent of Nollywood, Esiri was already a household name thanks to his role as Headmaster in the classic NTA sitcom the Village Headmaster. He will be sadly missed.

"GOLDIE HARVEY DIED OF STROKE" - SAHARA REPORTERS

By Saharareporters>>> Medical sources at the Lagos State  University Teaching Hospital have revealed that Big Brother Africa singing sensation Oluwabimpe Susan Harvey aka "Goldie" died of Intracranial hemorrhage as a result of hypertension.

Several of the sources told Saharareporters exclusively that Mrs. Harvey had bleeding in her brain which could be attributed to hypertension.

The confirmation put to rest earlier speculation by her managers and fans that she died of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) as a result of her long journey  from the Grammy's Award in the US.

One of our sources said that they could not immediately determine if drugs consumption triggered the excessive amount of bleeding that killed her as it was rare for someone her age to die of stroke.

The medical source stated that a toxicology test would be required to find out if her death was caused by drugs, a process that would likely take months as conclusive  tests could only be conducted outside Nigeria. See the original copy of the autopsy report after the jump.

BREAKING!!! CHRIS BROWN PROPOSES TO RIHANNA TONIGHT

Now I see what Rihanna was hinting at when she (bizarrely) wore a wedding band during the GRAMMYS... I'm just hearing whispers from incontrovertible sources that Chris Brown is preparing (as I write this) to propose to Rihanna tonight. Apparently there's this special midnight  birthday dinner going down in Hawaii or thereabouts for her and the guest list reads as follows: Rihanna's father, mother and cousins. Of course Chris Browns mother will be there too as the super star is expected to ask Ri-Ri to marry him although she's not aware of Chris' devious surprise proposal plan but the twist is that Chris has already secured the approval of Rihanna's parents behind her back.  He! He! He! Rihanna is surely too big and too busy to read the Spy so I guess I haven't spoiled the surprise... Watch this space folks, for the first photos...

London-based Nollywood actress Yvonne Hays behind the scenes in London of Ruke Amata's Shameful Deceit. Yvonne stars with Lanre Balogun in the upcoming film produced by Theodora Ibekwe. The film is due to be premiered in London in the summer.

A Rihanna fan who does not approve of his idol relighting the fire with violent Chris Brown made his feelings known by violently attacking her at a the Box night club in London. Ri-Ri and her girls were trying to unwind after the launch of her fashion line at the London Fashion week on Saturday when incident occurred. The crazed fan hurled insults and then launched a bottle of Lucozade at the Diamonds crooner who sustained a bloody cut on her right knee as she tried to dock from the missile.

"WHY GOLDIE TOOK DRUGS" - NEWS EXPRESS

As friends and fans of late Goldie Harvey struggle to come to terms with the rude shock of her sudden death on Valentine's day and await with bated breath the report of an autopsy into the cause of her untimely demise, a Nigerian website the News Express is already claiming to know for sure that late Goldie Harvey died of substance abuse and also why she went down that route. Just a day after her death, PM News first reported that Goldie's death may have been linked to complications from doping. According to the report, sources close to the artist had observed that she had started dabbling with substance abuse for some time and they believe something went wrong this time.  

Quoting a short post on the Facebook page of the late star in which the star shared some thoughts of her own psycho-analysis with a reference to her tendency to be depressed, the site gave its report the sensational heading "Why Goldie Took Drugs". In the post, Goldie purportedly wrote: “I don’t analyze myself too much. whenever I try to, I get depressed. don’t ask me why.lol. Having said that, I know I like to listen more than I talk, cannot stand being idle, (drives me nuts!) I’m also a free spirit. VERY FREE SPIRIT.......”

Was Goldie hooked on anti-depressants? However, while Goldie's husband Mr Andrew Harvey has dispelled rumors that she had an underlying medical condition, he has equally denied that she ever took drugs.

GOLDIE'S HUBBY WANTED HER TO BE CONTROVERSIAL FOR THE ATTENTION

The husband of late Goldie Harvey has revealed that he personally encouraged the star to court controversy because it pays in show business. In an interview with the Punch, Andrew Harvey said about Goldie's sojourn in the Big Brother Africa house: “We (Goldie and I) knew the pitfalls of the show and understood the game strategy. I said ‘make controversy because people love it.’ I think she did very well”. So while Prezzo thought he was being smart with the "dumb blonde", she was actually outsmarting him.... Heh! Heh! Heh! Wonders shall never end.

"I WANT TO GET TO HOLLYWOOD" - PATIENCE OZOKWO

Nollywood's mother-in-law from hell Patience Ozokwo aka Mama Gee says she's done with men and sex and now has her eyes fixed on Hollywood. The star who is famous for her interpretation of everything evil in women told an interviewer that although she had attained a level of comfort in the industry at home she was not resting on her oars. She said she wanted to see Nollywood grow bigger than Hollywood but ultimately she wants to move further  to Hollywood.

Ozokwo, a widow and mother of four revealed that in spite of her fiery on-screen character, there was no shortage of men proposing to marry her but she has vowed never to re-marry and to abstain from dating and sex. And contrary to word on the streets she's not a lesbian either.

On the disturbing phenomenon of marriage breakdowns within the Nigerian film industry, she advised married actors to spend more time with their families by taking along their partners and children to filming location so that they can better appreciate the nature of their job.

Ozokwo expressed satisfaction with the way she has touched people's lives through her film roles as well as in real life by her charitable activities pointing out that her lifestyle was the exact opposite of what she often portrays in movies. By the look of things, Hollywood would have to come to her if she doesn't get there soon enough.
