KOKO MASTER TAKES THE P*SS AT FLOPPED CONCERT

The Spy has received disappointing and quite damaging feedback about the recent D'banj concert in Lagos. Dubbed the "Koko" concert, the live event was heavily hyped in the Nigerian media and with a number of credible international acts on the bill many die-hard fans of the self-styled Koko Master were hoping to reconnect with their derailed idol who abandoned his grass root fan base some months ago in search of the golden fleece after parting ways with former friend and business partner Don Jazzy.

However, going by reports at my disposal it would appear that the whole show fazed out the Oliver Twist crooner as he was challenged on two fronts: organizational and live performance. As for the rapport with his fans, there weren't too many surprises with his trademark lippy rants that bordered on piss-taking on the mass who occupied the "Popular" seats as against the so-called One-Million-Naira paying VVIP's. Nollywood actress and special adviser to Imo state governor Nkiru Sylvanus has issued a brief but defiant statement about her recent kidnap and release. She said:“My detractors labor in vain…. my God does not sleep nor slumber…. I am back again.” Although her family reportedly paid a whopping N8m ransom for her freedom, word on the street is that her dramatic disappearance and reappearance was orchestrated by  principalities and powers close to the heart of the governor she supposedly works for. Damn, lets cut to the chase - could the actress be reaping where she did not sow in the vineyard of Imo state's government house? Strictly speaking, if the popular actress was abducted because she's romancing her boss and the boss' wife wanted to give her a warning she'll never forget, then her captors who would have been commissioned by the bitter Mrs should not have taken any ransom so that the whole world can see the point. Plus why did they have to also kidnap and release the lesser known Kenneth Okoli and then release him along with Nkiru? The Spy's point is that the allegation that the governor's spouse may have a hand in the star's nightmare experience seems a little far-fetched... unless it was executed that way just to make people doubt her involvement. Forbes Magazine has named Usain Bolt on this year's 30 under 30 list. Thanks to his lightning performance on the track, the six-foot-five sprinter is earning $9million per year in his contract with Puma, making him the highest paid track & field athlete in history.

The two time triple world record holder also earns millions from endorsements by global brands Nissan, Visa and Gatorade. Bolt who was named IAAF Athlete Of The Year for the fourth time running also has his own line of Headphones.

I'm basically the only actress who hasn't slept with an actor. Ask around". Ashi is shortened for "ASHEWO" the local Nigerian term for "WHORE". So, one cant help but wonder how her pals in Nollywood will take these unflattering remarks... Well, you can be sure that she cares less for she beats herself on the chest over all her achievements since the film roles dried up ages ago. 
As far as the Spy knows, her major achievements so far include flashing her massive melons and booty crack on Tweeter and then opening a joint where she can flash them some more. To those young ladies out there who see her as their ultimate role model she makes it clear she did not get there by sleeping around but by dint of hard work. Go, girl! OMOTOLA TRIPS AND FALLS AT LAGOS AIRPORT

Jett-setting Nollywood superstar Omotola Jalade Ekeinde returned to Nigeria from one of her numerous trips earlier today (Sunday). And guess what? ...With the escalators out of service, the thespian tripped and fell face flat to the ground. The incident occurred at the Lagos airport and the actress seeing the funny side of it swallowed her gorgeous pride and went on Twitter to announce it for the whole world to hear. Apparently, the new "Afro Baby" unsuspectingly beat bloggers and celebrity watchers to her own scoop however, she was too close to the floor to take a picture of herself so she now wonders if any one managed to grab the million dollar shot.
