Some years ago Oprah Winfrey - one of the world's richest women was denied entry into Harrods in London because she was casually turned-out and apparently didn't meet their aristocratic dress code. 

Once again the television talk show  queen and media mogul was shown the race card at a luxury shop in Swiss capital Zurich where a shop assistant vehemently refused to let Oprah see a particular hand bag because the assistant reckoned that from Oprah's Black appearance the billionaire could not afford the $35000 price tag. 

The most annoying thing about the story is how the owner of the shop who wasn't present during the incident later defended the actions of the sales girl who should have been summarily dismissed. Watch...

BROKE UGANDAN STAR ZARI TO BE INVESTIGATED BY REVENUE SERVICES AFTER COMPROMISING TWEETS

The Ugandan Revenue Authority (URA) says it has been alerted to look into the tax status of top celebrity Zari Hassan aka Bosslady. But who could have grassed on the sexy singer and business woman? No one but herself. Thirty-year-old Zari who owns a jewelry business is believed to be experiencing cash flow issues lately resulting in her shop located at Kampala's Garden City being sealed off.

On Thursday, the former wife of playboy millionaire Ivan Ssemwanga thought it was funny to confide in her fans by tweeting: "Damn taxes hitting me hard in ma butt, revenue guys ain't sparing me. Eish! Ama sort it out as responsible citizen," followed by this: "Am hustling it out today no Eid lunch for me."

In sympathy, her fans then re-tweeted her tweets tagging the URA in the hope that they'll go easy on their idol.

Alas, Zari's ploy has backfired because she has aroused the interest (no pun intended) of the Revenue guys who now want to pry into her books. It turns out however, that Zari's woes hinge on her landlord whom she owes rent.

RIHANNA WINS T-SHIRT CASE AGAINST TOPSHOP AND PARTIES IN THE STREET AT BARBADOS CARNIVAL

Rihanna has won her legal battle against British fashion retailer TopShop. The star filed the law suit against the giant chain last year for selling this T-shirt with her image without her permission. 

Mr Justice Birss of the British High Court ruled on Friday that TopShop's selling of the top was likely to damage the star's reputation within the fashion industry as a high number of people were likely to buy the shirts because of Rihanna's image printed on 
it. 
TopShop have reacted saying that they're considering lodging an appeal against the judgement.
