BAD BLACK SUED BY HER OWN LAWYERS FOR UNPAID FEES

Scandalycious Ugandan socialite Shanita Namuyimbwa, aka Bad Black is back in the news and as always for the wrong reasons. I gather that Black has been sued for allegedly defaulting to pay legal fees amounting to over 162 million shillings.

She was sued by HM Onoria Advocates, a law firm that claims to have offered her legal services before the Court of Appeal but she never honored the contract. The suit was filed on Tuesday before the High Court in Kampala.

The law suit against her is in connection to the legal fees she allegedly defaulted to pay after being represented to secure bail to enable her fly to Dubai to have her putrefying breast implants removed.

In July last year, the Anti-Corruption Court convicted and sentenced Black to four years in jail for embezzling over 11 billion shillings from her British boyfriend’s real estate company, Daveshan Development Company Ltd.

Black, a one-time prostitute has since appealed against the judgment and seeks to have it set aside.

On October 17 last year, Black entered into an agreement with the law firm to purposely help her secure bail pending the hearing of her appeal. Late last year, court indeed released her on bail before she flew to Dubai to have breast implants removed.

GRRRR! RASTAFARIANS ROAR OVER SNOOP LION'S NAME CHANGE, THEY SAY HE IS A FAKE RASTA

The Rastafarian Council - Custodians of the Rastafarian sect - have threatened to sue US rap icon Snoop Dogg if he doesn't drop his recently adopted moniker Snoop Lion. They are asking Snoop to revert back to Dogg, (or any other animal for that matter) and also issue an apology to the Rastafarian Community.

 Prior to the warning, former Bob Marley band member Bunny Wailer who inadvertently christened Dogg as "Lion" because he just couldn't bring himself to call the dude a "dog" had expressed his beef with Snoop for not crediting him with the new tag. Wailer told Irie FM: "You know Snoop is a dog first and I called him a lion because I couldn't call him a dog. But then he did not treat me as one who emphasized on him from being a dog to a lion and that's something I am not satisfied with."

In another interview with TMZ Bunny Wailer adds: "Snoop Dogg has engaged in“outright fraudulent use of Rastafari Community’s personalities and symbolism” — and has failed to meet “contractual, moral and verbal commitments.”

The Council makes it clear that simply being a Bob Marley fan, smoking weed and listening to reggae music does not make you a Rastafarian.

Rihanna’s boyfriend Chris Brown has described his vicious assault on the singer as the “greatest regret” of his life.

Speaking for the first time about their recent reconciliation, the US R&B star shrugged off the public backlash against him and pledged never to hurt the Bajan beauty again.

In a searingly honest interview with the Mirror, he apologized for his actions in 2009, when he physically attacked Rihanna, leaving her shocked and bruised.

And Brown admitted that winning her love back had taken many months of tough “serious making up”.

He said: “Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals.

“That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake.

"But she loves me – what can I say? I’m forgiven… but, yes, I worked hard for it.”

“I’ve learned a lot since that night and I’ve grown up. I was very young and I took a lot of stuff, fame, for granted.

“I didn’t understand it. The support from those who do know me and the fans, who are incredible, got me through.” (From The Mirror)

Wow! It seems like all Chris Brown haters are fighting a lost battle because the lady is not for the turning (apologies, Margaret Thatcher). As for me, I have come to the sad conclusion and have to report without further ado that Rihanna is irreparably smitten by the dude who she's now describing as "not the monster everyone thinks". And with a July wedding now on the cards, she wouldn't  be feeling obligated to give us any explanations if she hadn't cried wolf in the first place.
