NOLLYWOOD'S CHIKA IKE'S AGE WAHALA LANDS HER IN WAEC RESULT HOT WATER

In her desperation to silence critics who think she's older than her twenty-seven years, Nollywood actress Chika Ike posted her WAEC certificate on Twitter. But guess what, rather than silencing her detractors, she's got them well and truly going as the topic has now shifted to her not-too-ok grades.  While some think she's got some brains to match her looks, others are not that impressed with her average marks. Some even suspect the certificate was doctored. A commentator on one blog who claims to have attended the same secondary school with the actress alleged that Ike switched schools to one where she was guaranteed to pass in one go. Anyway, she didn't score a single A1 so no worries there. But seriously, if she was that bothered about what people think about her age she could have posted her US passport like Davido or better still her birth certificate even though there still can be no guarantee with that... just ask president Obama. Plus we all know that in Naija all things are possible... Oh, lest I forget, take a goooood look at that passport photo on the certificate. Does it look anything like a girl, talk less of Chika Ike? Even if it was taken in colonial days it looks more like an Aboki to me, haba! I'm sure she's kicking her ass in the teeth right now but not to worry, I hear she now has Kim K's shoulder to cry on.

                    

JAILED UGANDAN SOCIALITE BAD BLACK CONVERTS AND BECOMES PASTOR

A little birdie tells me that former Ugandan prostitute-turned celebrity Shanitah Namuyimba aka Bad Black is now born again. The socialite who famously struggled to determine the father of her cesarean baby girl due to dating multiple partners is currently serving a four-year jail term for fraud. My source says just like the biblical story of Saul turning to Paul after conversion, Bad Black's new tag is Good Black and she now describes herself as a "Pastor". It's amazing what the dark cells of prison do to people. Many like her end up seeing the "Light".  At the time of her incarceration, her baby Davinah was only a few weeks old and Bad Black had her knickers in a twist over the baby's paternity having dated among others, the Nigerian Highlife crooner Flavour. On Thursday, Shanitah was granted a medical "holiday" from prison to go and fix her breast implants in Dubai after developing complications.

KAREN IGHO'S ENCOUNTER WITH AN ARMED ROBBER

Tongues are wagging over the mysterious claim of assault by Big Brother celebrity Karen Igho. The Nigerian who won the African version of the reality show in 2011 is claiming that she was slapped by a gun-totting bouncer at an event on Friday 14 December because she refused to give him money. However, the photo evidence she posted on Twitter looks like her face was completely re-arranged suggesting that she may have received a little more than just a slap. The other snag is that while Igho is threatening to sue the "bouncer" and no doubt by extension the organizers of the  Smirnoff  3D Disco event, they are distancing themselves from the wahala saying the security bouncers they contracted for the do that took place at the Landmark Events Centre, Lagos were not armed. Could she have been a victim of attempted armed robbery? If that's the case, perhaps she should go to church this Sunday and give thanks that all she got was a nasty slap, never mind the fact that it makes her look like an alien because things could have been far worse. JIM IYKE AND NADIA BUARI CHEER UP UGANDAN ORPHANS WITH NEWS OF XMAS BASH

Top Nigerian actor Jim Iyke continues to define the boundaries between acting and real life and  proving that his "Bad Boy" tag is only a gimmick in the make-believe world of Nollywood. The multi-award winning star, entrepreneur, model and philanthropist who is currently on a charity tour of Central Africa recently visited the Naguru  Reception Center for Children in Kampala Uganda. He was accompanied by stunning Ghanaian actress Nadia Buhari and her mum. "We have decided to throw a huge Xmas party for the kids" Iyke revealed today in an exclusive conversation with the Spy's sister blog  UNTAMED NEWS. The Nagaru center is a home for Uganda's orphaned and abandoned children. Unlike most children, they have very little to be cheerful about especially in a season such as Christmas but the Nollywood hard man together with his sexy counterpart from Accra shed their glamorous preoccupations to put a smile on these forlorn faces.
