| Late President Mills |
Reuters are reporting that Ghana's president Mills died today after a brief illness. A statement from the President's office stated "It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden untimely death of the President of the Republic of Ghana." The statement added that president Mills died a few hours after being taken ill. Unconfirmed local sources however informed me that the 68 year-old head of state had been battling cancer of the throat for quite some time. More as we get it...
In the meantime, my deepest condolences go to the entire Ghanaian nation.
