THREE GHANAIAN CELEBRITIES AND THE LONDON SHOPLIFTING SAGA

Meet Emelia Brobbey, the Ghanaian actress whose light fingers have not only exposed her in bad light but also landed two fellow Ghanaian actresses inside UK immigration net. On a visit to London, Brobbey a former teacher went shoplifting and pinched a nonsensical bracelet (I suspect it was neither silver, gold nor diamond) from a Pearsons branch in Enfield last week and when she was nabbed by vigilant store detectives, she eventually led the cops to her host(ess) a struggling London based actress Gloria Agyemang. The Spy understands that Gloria's immigration status could be described as dodgy...
But it gets more interesting as a third Ghanaian actress Eunice Akua Adjeiwaa who was laying low at Gloria's Waltham Cross home after overstaying her visitor's visa was rustled and banged up in a holding cell pending deportation.
Gloria is now under orders to report at the Border Agency at regular intervals while the main character, our shopperholic actress Emelia promptly boarded the first Ghana-bound plane on Sunday 21 July after paying a fine for her misdemeanor and earning a place in UK's criminal records. I hope she kissed UK goodbye because she can only return here in another life...
The episode which could make a blockbuster movie script has since sparked a war of words among Ghanaians with some saying that the media should have swept the story under the carpet, something that one popular Ghanaian blogger attempted to do by posting the story without mentioning names. However, a Radio station neutralized his feeble and despicable effort by naming all three celebrities involved. *The Spy ALWAYS finds out and ALWAYS tells it like it is.
