"GOLDIE DIED OF DRUG OVERDOSE" - CLOSE FRIENDS

Late flamboyant singer and reality show queen Goldie Harvey may have died from doping complications, the Spy has gathered. As the puzzle surrounding the sudden death on Valentine's day of the Nigerian star are gradually pieced together,  sources close to the late artist have revealed that Goldie, born Susan Oluwabimpe Harvey had been dabbling with hard drugs and initial indications were that  her death may have been dope-related. A report in PM News this morning quoted  a source saying:  “She had complications from the use of dope. I guess things went wrong this time around.”

Best friend: Eccentric entertainer Denrele Edun

Another source also told the authoritative Lagos newspaper that “she had been into this drug stuff for some time now. I believe that contributed to her death.” It was not immediately clear if Goldie's close pal the eccentric entertainer Denrele Edun was aware of or played any role in late Goldie's experimentation with drugs. He himself has been reported as stating that  his friend  gave up the ghost in his arms at Reddington hospital Lagos only hours after her return from the US after attending the GRAMMYS in LA.
