SCANDAL: "I lied about my age because I want to be a star" - Dethroned MBGN queen

Ayuk: Lied about age
Shamed and dethroned Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria (MBGN) queen Isabella Ayuk has finally revealed her true motivation when she lied about her age in order to contest in the beauty pageant... its because she wants to be a star!!! This is the undeniable deduction reflected in her first public reaction to her dethronement. In her own statement posted on Facebook  Ayuk asserts that "Scandal is necessary for stardom" but we beg to disagree. Indeed we were hoping that her agent (if she has one) would have advised her to come up with some clever damage limitation ploy like apologising to the people of Nigeria for the gross national embarrassment she has caused and then try to put to rest this never ending saga of how ancient she is by for instance posting a copy of her dusty birth certificate on
Facebook. Instead she continues to be economical with the truth and tries to capitalise on her unladylike misdemeanor. What she's indirectly saying is that she's desperate to be famous and she'll get it by hook or by crook. By implication she's also telling Nigerians that she feels no remorse for her action. Well, the Spy says - there are scandals and then there are scandals... If for instance Ayuk experienced a wardrobe malfunction during the contest or we find out that she's a lesbian, that could be written off as a harmless scandal that wouldn't hinder her rise in the industry in any way. But to be exposed and branded as an age cheat which is a crucial element in the contest is to say the least corrupt and disgraceful and therefore this desperate serial beauty contestant should hide her head in shame, accept she's past her sell by date and not flatter her herself. Contrary to popular perception, not all publicity is good publicity therefore scandals such as the one she's been involved in can only lead to one thing - shamedom not stardom. Hellooooooooo.
