| Timiya: Rebranded look |
The next time you see Nigeria's dance hall superstar Timaya you may not recognise him because he has shaved off his trade mark dreadlocks. The move immediately sparked mixed reactions from his fans. In a space of three hours after the militant musician tweeted "Ma dread is off ... Kai I feel kooool", a flurry of tweets from his fans followed - some expressing shock and disbelief. One said "Congratulations" but most verged on outright disapproval. Timaya - aka Egberi Papa1 - became a dad for the first time about a month ago when an as yet unidentified partner bore him a daughter. I have sent a tweet to the star asking if his "Upgraded" look was part of cleaning up his act to be a cleaner role model for his daughter. Will he come clean and tell us why he shaved his locks? We're waiting... But what do you think folks? Do you like his new look?
