Majid and Vicker beef over AMAA and Press

The SPY gathers that two of Ghana's top screen names Van Vicker and Majid Michel have beef.... for the most ridiculous of reasons too. According to the rumour mills in Ghana the two Ghallywood hunks have not been in the best of terms since the recent African Movies Academy Awards (AMAA) where Michel won the Best Actor prize.

Now, you'd be thinking that perhaps Vicker is a little green-eyed about not getting the gong  hence the tension but you'll be wrong because the guy denies any hard feelings and says he was actually happy for his colleague and did congratulate him. However, Michel who is in the bad books of (Nigerian) journalists for running his mouth about their reporting is angry that news of his win at AMAA was eclipsed by that of Vycker's encounter with the Nigerian Security Services over suspected gun possession.

The SPY says "One man's Meat Is Another's Poison" but even better than that, you can't expect to eat if you've bitten off the fingers that feed you. How Michel expected screaming headlines after dissing the press beats us.... Lols.

Meanwhile Vycker is still in the sights of Nigerian Security as latest reports say he was arrested along with Nollywood's  Uche Jumbo in connection with a gun scene they were shooting in Lagos without police clearance leading to them being brought in for suspected "armed robbery."
