Nollywood - Arinze quits as Guild President

Reports just reaching the SPY indicate that Nollywood star Segun Arinze has resigned with immediate effect from his position as President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN). The NET portal who reported the story have been unable to confirm it but published the resignation letter purportedly written by Arinze and addressed to the board of Trustees.

Arinze's move will not come as a surprise as his leadership has long been undermined and dogged by fierce internal mischief and legal challenges culminating in the failure of elections held nearly a forthnight ago in  Benin City during which there was reported fist fighting and exchange of voodoo spells amongst members vying for office.
