Tchidi Chikere, the Nollywood Director who was recently quoted as saying he doubted the three children born to him by his estranged actress wife Sophia were not his, has now reacted
and categorically denies ever saying so. In a statement, he told Nollywood Gossip - the originators of the story who apparently based their report on a questionnaire sent via e-mail that his account may have been hacked and that he felt heartbroken when he read the story.
Promising to grant them an interview to clear the air, Chikere said: "I love my kids so much and I'll never say anything to hurt them", adding "I still respect what I and Sophia shared and would never say anything to run her down."
You will recall that in a statement issued by Chikere's agents when the separation was officially announced he had appealed to the media to keep their children out of the messy picture that is now coming together. Obviously, that passionate plea has fallen on deaf ears.
