Comedian AY says it wasn't funny growing up

A-list Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun - better known as AY says it took him all of  NINE good years to obtain a degree in Theatre Arts. Jeeeez! Don't laugh folks, its not funny!
And the hilarious stand-up act wasn't cracking jokes either when he told a Nigerian magazine that although he hails from Ondo State (Western Nigeria) he prefers to be identified as a "Warri boy" (Delta State) because he was born there. He says he's so famous and loved in the Delta that he's like Barak Obama.... Well, you can laugh now, that was a joke....
The now successful comic and entrepreneur says growing up and obtaining an education was no laughing matter as he had to fend for himself and his siblings plus being "victimized" probably bullied at school. O.k bro, I think we get it.
