KOKO MASTER TAKES THE P*SS AT FLOPPED CONCERT

The Spy has received disappointing and quite damaging feedback about the recent D'banj concert in Lagos. Dubbed the "Koko" concert, the live event was heavily hyped in the Nigerian media and with a number of credible international acts on the bill many die-hard fans of the self-styled Koko Master were hoping to reconnect with their derailed idol who abandoned his grass root fan base some months ago in search of the golden fleece after parting ways with former friend and business partner Don Jazzy.

However, going by reports at my disposal it would appear that the whole show fazed out the Oliver Twist crooner as he was challenged on two fronts: organizational and live performance. As for the rapport with his fans, there weren't too many surprises with his trademark lippy rants that bordered on piss-taking on the mass who occupied the "Popular" seats as against the so-called One-Million-Naira paying VVIP's.
