"I'M BEING BLACKMAILED" - DAVIDO

Following recent reports that he is wanted by police for his alleged involvement in the assault of a taxi driver, Nigerian teen star Davido has issued the statement below...

Davido
"I want to assure all my beloved fans and friends that, I am not wanted by the police and no officer in the Nigerian police gave an order for my arrest. I went to the police some weeks ago to give a statement and cleared my name. I did not beat up any taxi driver and the lady that hired the taxi driver and all those that are involved in this matter have made statements to the police and none of them mentioned my name except the taxi driver who claims that a large sum of money was missing in his taxi, in fact the lady in question stated that she was not beaten by anyone and that nobody assaulted the taxi driver. This is a case of blackmail, and I have resolved not to succumb to any blackmail for money. And to all those that are involved in this conspiracy to bring me down, I want to remind you that God Almighty himself got me to where I am today in my music career and you will not succeed in your devilish efforts to bring me down.
Adedeji David Adeleke, aka Davido".

The Spy says - Why do I have this funny feeling that this is going to be one very lonnnnnnnnng story because if my memory serves me right, the taxi driver in question did present some bloody injuries when the story broke... Watch this space.

"Good English Nor Dey Bring Money" Peter Okoye

Peter Okoye, one half of P-Square, has responded to those who have been mocking his effort at speaking the English language. The twins have been slated recently for their "Igbo" accent - See my previous post -So Peter hit back via Twitter saying: "Speaking good english doesn't put food on my table." Ha! Ha! You can say that again, dude. I'm on your side... Come to think of it, I don't really mind how you speak even Chinese is fine as long as you let me chop some of your many money. But between you and I english is spelt with capital "E"! LoL.

Quote Of The Day -" PSquare English Sucks"

OMG! This is the comment posted by a reader of Linda Ikeji's blog about the little-known Nollywood twins Chidiebere and Chidinma Aneke about the possibility of them pairing up with Nigeria's most eligible twin artists, Paul and Peter Okoye. Do you agree? Have you heard the two hunky singers speak up close? I'm staying neutral on this so over to you lot.. (W!NKS)

Davido Wanted By Police

Davido: WANTED!
Nigerian teen star David Adeleke better known as Davido is a wanted man. According to the Punch newspaper, the Zone 2 AIG of Police has ordered the controversial singer to be brought before him in relation to the alleged assault of one taxi driver Femi Ajibola. You will recall the incident which was widely reported on the internet early August reportedly occurred when Ajibola stepped in to stop Davido from battering his girlfriend who Ajibola had transported to the venue. Davido has denied any involvement in the incident but the Punch is reporting an elaborate recount of police investigation into the case a highlight of which is that Davido in one breath claims one Bayo (his cousin) that assaulted his girlfriend and in another breath offered to pay off the injured driver. According to the report, the immediate whereabouts of the star was not known and that he would be arrested once found.

Mr Ibu Shocker! BURY ME AT STAMFORD BRIDGE

Mr Ibu - Chelsea for life!
You probably know Nollywood star John Okafor as one of Nigeria's funniest men but the actor that's better known as Mr Ibu is also a die hard fan of Chelsea football club. In fact his blood is so blue that he has described his commitment to the English premier league side  as an addiction, a drug! And Mr Ibu is so high on his Chelsea drug that he recently told the Entertainment Express magazine he wants to be buried at Stamford bridge - the home grounds of Chelsea football club. Lol, I guess that can be arranged but somebody please help me tell Mr Ibu that there're still a few matches left to be played at Stamford bridge I'm afraid, so he'll have to wait for quite a long, long time before kicking the bucket. Until then, he can keep cracking us up with jokes.
