Wande Coal, Dr Sid - Good Riddance To D'Banj?

More pieces in the Mo'Hits puzzle are falling into place this weekend thanks to another leaked correspondence. Irrespective of the document, the SPY can reveal that as far as Dr Sid and Wande Coal - key artists on the imploded label - are concerned, D'Banj's departure is good riddance.
It is no longer a secret that the Koko Master felt threatened by the instant success of Wande Coal following the release of his hit single Bumper To Bumper and based on Coal being allegedly Rude to him, successfully manipulated Don Jazzy into freezing further releases by Coal for two years. Last week, Coal openly challenged D'banj to provide proof of the Bentley gift he allegedly bought for Don Jazzy.
Although it is not clear how cordial the relationship between D'banj and Dr Sid was at the best of times, we can safely assume that there's no love lost there either if a recent statement Sid made on Twitter is anything to go by. When a fan asked him if he was going to remain at Mo'Hits, he responded - "If you had Don Jazzy would you leave?" As for the young D'Prince, he's playing safe with more guarded statements when chatting with his fans on Twitter...

Meanwhile, reports say E-Punch - who exposed the alarming email exchange between D'Banj and Don Jazzy last week -  have obtained another confidential correspondence in which a lawyer allegedly advices the warring partners to settle their differences by signing-over to each other their respective stakes in their two joint ventures - namely Mo'Hits Records and Koko Holdings
The idea is for Don Jazzy to keep the Mo'Hits label whilst the Koko Master carries on being the Master of Koko Holdings. Will the men accept this sensible proposal, shake hands and let bygones be bygones? Only time will tell. For now however, it seems only D'banj's Kokolets are losing sleep over his departure.
