Toke Makinwa (Left) and Linda Ikeji (Right)
Makinwa reportedly said on air amongst other things that Linda Ikeji was "not a role model". Well, Linda's narrative which relates her inspiring struggle from rags to riches through her blogging whilst maintaining her feminine dignity was posted at 10:45 am this morning and immediately set her fans on fire eliciting 200 comments at the time of this report - 1:20 pm!
As should be expected, some of the comments about Linda's reaction to the presenter whom some have described as little known and fish brained have been more complimentary than others of which here are two quick samples before we refer you to her blog for the main course...
(Anonymous) Linda your maturity turns me inside out. I sincerely love and admire your composure, intellect and diplomacy when it comes to explaining critical issues. I do my best in finding women that have some of the characteristics you portray i.e. understanding, beauty and sincerity. Please keep doing what you do and be rest assured that you are respected home and abroad.

I would suggest you take up some self esteem courses or books which will help you in that area. Once you raise your self esteem you will not need to explain yourself and prove yourself to others. You will stop defending yourself constantly and just allow yourself to define your life..instead of others.
