Makinwa backtracks on Ikeji jibe, sort of!

Toke Makinwa - the radio presenter who dissed blogger Linda Ikeji on air - has backtracked but we're not buying it. Speaking to 360nobs.com, Makinwa maintains first that she doesn't know Ikeji or what she looks like and that if she walked into the room she (Makinwa) won't even "look there" and then when asked who her role models were she replied "Linda Ikeji is one of them." She however did not deny saying what she was quoted as saying rather she tried fruitlessly to explain that her statements had been taken out of context. Who's she fooling? Certainly not the SPY. Granted, you don't have to know or be friends with your role model but you must at least accept and value what they do or stand for. That's what role models are all about but that doesn't seem to be the case here. You've got it twisted, gurl.
