Top Ghanaian actor Van Vicker was in a police cell in Lagos whilst his colleagues were at the recent African Movies Academy Awards (AMAA) the SPY has gathered.
Vicker caused a stair at the Muritala International Airport and was detained overnight after an undisclosed number of guns which turned out to be film props were found in his luggage on arrival to attend the awards in Lagos.

According to reports, all attempts by the actor to convince Security agents that the guns were not real fell on deaf ears and and to make matters worse, the sms he sent to Nollywood friend and colleague Uche Jumbo didn't get to her her until the following day after he had spent the night being interrogated at the State Security Services (SSS) offices in Ikoyi.
