Nuella Njubuigbo mad at media

Nollywood actress Nuella Njubuigbo has denied having any thing to do with Thchidi Chikere's marriage break-up saying the film director was only a senior colleague and a friend.
Njubuigbo who was also rumoured to be pregnant for Chikere told Nigeriafilms a few days ago - "I am actually mad at some people for not even asking before writing. When you hear something about someone, you call and ask".

Big Brother's Karen Igho retracts engagement announcement

We hate to say "We Told You So", but some people thought the SPY came down too hard on Big Brother star Karen Igho when we condemned her "fake" engagement tweet last Saturday but we have now been vindicated. According to a statement released by her agent  a short while ago the engagement proposal was just "random thoughts from Ms Karen Igho after a fan and admirer proposed to her."

Makinwa backtracks on Ikeji jibe, sort of!

Toke Makinwa - the radio presenter who dissed blogger Linda Ikeji on air - has backtracked but we're not buying it. Speaking to 360nobs.com, Makinwa maintains first that she doesn't know Ikeji or what she looks like and that if she walked into the room she (Makinwa) won't even "look there" and then when asked who her role models were she replied "Linda Ikeji is one of them." She however did not deny saying what she was quoted as saying rather she tried fruitlessly to explain that her statements had been taken out of context. Who's she fooling? Certainly not the SPY. Granted, you don't have to know or be friends with your role model but you must at least accept and value what they do or stand for. That's what role models are all about but that doesn't seem to be the case here. You've got it twisted, gurl.

The multi-award winning Nigerian superstar told NET in an exclusive interview that he's had a crush on the sultry jazz crooner since he was a teenager and named her as one of the two special people he'll love to meet dead or alive. The other was the late Reggae exponent Bob Marley who he said inspired him in his formative years.

Don Jazzy has reacted to D'banj's recent interview in which many far reaching statements and accusations were made and amazingly, the Don didn't have much to say to an inquisitive gossip reporter. In a nutshell, his message  was - "I'm not interested in going into the debates  of whatever D'Banj has said", adding that he had said his piece in his original tweets over the matter and wanted to move on with Mo'Hits productions rather than trade accusations with D'Banj. Striker Odemwingie forced to change wedding date

Odemwingie and his fiancee Sarah had fixed the wedding for May 19 - the date of the Champions League and one week after the close of the Premier League. But his would-be father-in-law insisted he would not attend if Manchester City survived to the end of the competition.
