Perfect Plan premiers in London
African cinema history was made last night when the first ever Sierra Leonean movie premier took place at the Greenwich Odeon Cinema in London. Shot in the US with little known actors, the film is titled Perfect Plan, but it turned out to be much more than that - its actually also the Perfect Storyline and all thanks to the directing skills of Adeyemi Lardner and the London-based producer Collins Archie-Pearce.

Sick actor abandoned by wife
This is the critically ill Nollywood actor Tochi James Uche aka Prince James who is now at the mercy of a local church after being kicked out of his matrimonial home in the Gbagada suburb of Lagos. The actor has been suffering from diabetes and hypertension and therefore has been out of work but his seamstress wife - a certain Jezebel named Ekene say's she's having none of it. Her brand of marriage must be "For better or best, no less." The Spy hopes that the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) are aware of Tochi's case because what we do not want is any form of medicine after death. The fact that the home video star's credentials are not exactly clean (flashback 2007 cocaine scandal!!!) doesn't mean that they should turn their back on him now.

When one hears names like "Linus", Livinus" or "Clarius" you automatically think Eastern or on a wider scale South-South. Kinda rare to have the Edo name Idahosa following.

Bobby Brown arrested
Hip Hop bad boy Bobby Brown is in trouble again. Quoting law enforcement sources, TMZ reports that the ex-hubby of late Whitney Houston who toured Nigeria nearly a fortnight ago was taken into police custody last night after being arrested for driving under the influence. (DUI).
Forty-three-year-old Bobby attracted the attention of police in Reseda California because he was speaking on his mobile whilst driving and when he was pulled over they had reasons to believe he was intoxicated. A test later proved that he had a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher at the time of his arrest.
Brown served eight days behind bars in 1996 after pleading guilty to a DUI conviction.

R n B superstar, Rihanna says she loves being seen in the nude! Ha ha! Why not tell us something we don't already know? We've seen more than an eye-full of Rih-Rih in her best birthday suit and all because (according to her) she's suffering from low self-esteem. The pop icon says that's why she's fond of stripping-off and posting nude pics of herself on social networking sites like Twitter.
She told an American fitness magazine: "My way probably won't work for other people but the more I got naked the more comfortable I felt"

Nollywood marriage scandal: Tonto Dikeh denies affair
Tonto Dikeh, the Nollywood actress who's been roped into the recent marriage breakdown of fellow Nollywood star Tchidi Chikere is denying any involvement. A Nigerian tabloid has linked her to the long running domestics of Mr and Mrs Chikere. The hunky Chikere has a reputation of being a ladies' man and is alleged to have impregnated actress Nuella Njubuigbo, moved-in with her and that both were planning to wed in December. However, Chikere's agents have since debunked the allegations and went as far as inviting any doubting Thomases in Gossipland to go and examine the actress's pregnancy status on the set of her current movie somewhere in East of Nigeria. This is really getting nasty so watch this space...

Or is it? Well, its either that or there never was any beef in the first place!
