Outrage as Nigerians leave Big Brother house

The Nigerian pair in the Big Brother star game have walked.... rather unceremoniously! Thanks to Ola - one of the show's favourites. Some might find it pitiful due to the health reasons given but the SPY has little sympathy for the abrupt end to the pair's journey in the house for the simple reason that this endearing gentle giant Ola, knowing his medical condition shouldn't have volunteered to enter the house in the first place. Assuming someone even put a gun to his head to force him into that 'pressure cooker' environment, then adequate provision and allowances should have been made to keep him stable. Everyone knows that life in the Big Brother house is not always fun and games so why go into the kitchen if you can't stand the heat? Do you know how many fans who were routing for Ola are now gutted by this premature departure? We just feel sorry for them and his partner Chris.

Oliver Twist not in UK charts

If the latest tweets by Oliver Twist singer D'Banj are anything to go by, we're being told that his re-released single has reached 8th position in the UK's National charts and number 9 in  the iTunes charts. The SPY can confirm that whilst the latter is true, we have however been unable to find any evidence that Oliver Twist is listed anywhere in any category of any of the nationally recognised music charts in the UK.

Blogger Ikeji blasted by her readers

Nigeria's First Lady of blogging Linda Ikeji is having a bad hair day and her fans are taking full advantage of it - after she asked them what they thought of her new artificial hair style. The famous socialite who claims to be earning millions from her blog and frequently features herself in it was thoroughly lambasted by her fans with some saying she looked like all sorts of things and people ranging from footballer Gervinho to pop star Rick James whilst others said she looked like someone who had had liposuction. However, the consensus was that the sexy 32-year-old former model looked stressed and older.
Ikeji's new look is a departure from her fresh trade mark Naomi Campbell style with a middle parting. Well, the SPY says no matter what her fans think, the smart blogger - unlike some of us - has just earned another million or two for plugging the makers of the ugly fake hair that gives her the menopausal look.

Speaking to MTV Wrap Up, D'banj who is billed to headline the Radio1 Hackney Weekend show practically turned Oliver Twist himself with a begging bowl - using every opportunity during the interview to beg for acceptance of his sound which he now describes as Afro-Pop.
