Nollywood "Bad Boy" Jym Iyke is using every opportunity he gets to add more dents to his already battered image by always acting out movie story lines in real life.
But if he's walking free today its probably because he performs his antics in Nigeria where people go scot free after doing the unthinkable like Mercy Johnson assaulting a crew member without being sued etc...Reports reaching the SPY have it that whilst in court for the N15m fraud case against him last Tuesday Iyke apparently wasn't paying any attention to the proceedings - instead he was busy on his mobile phone!!! Now, we don't pretend to know the first thing in law but can safely guess that such behaviour in the court of law is termed "CONTEMPT OF COURT" and is so serious in other parts of the world that it is actually a JAIL - ABLE offence!
Well, being Nigeria, he got away with it only to get his thugs to assault a member of the public he suspected of videoing the court proceedings on his mobile phone - they seized the man's device and deleted the footage.
In the face of such impunity, our only consolation is that the police successfully established their case and his request for the court to dismiss it was refused. So we'll see Mister Bad Boy again in court on May 23.
The SPY wonders what will it take to wipe off that annoying ever-present smirk from that brother's cheeky face?
