Davido denies beating by Mopol (Yea rite!)

After sleeping off his near-tragic hangover, rising star Davido promptly went on Twitter to debunk reports that he was taught a lesson by a Mobile Police Officer (Mopol) at a check point in Abuja recently. Blaming "haters" for the alleged embarrassing incident in which he was slapped for being drunkenly
arrogant, the artist last night claimed that he was never slapped and that he was at home and well. According to the reports the enraged officer threatened to shoot if the loud-mouthed upstart didn't behave. Well, the Spy says - You're missing the point. First, how can you remember that you were slapped or that you were rude to your own host when you were senselessly drunk? Anyone who's ever been in that state knows that they can't remember jack afterwards. Second, nobody said you were hospitalised or dead so its pointless telling your fans "I'm safe and home" because we already knew that. Like us or hate us the media are here to stay and we will continue to keep you in check so thank your stars that the Mopol didn't lose it and pull the trigger. You're young and have a long way to go so I suggest you learn from your mistakes and move on. Oh, lest I forget, please swallow your pride and apologise to Nosa who saved your silly arse that night.
