Mo'Hits is dead, long live Mavin! Yes, that's the name you'll have to mention with caution hence forth because its the new label just floated by Mo'Hits brain box Michael Collins aka Don Jazzy, following his fall-out with friend and former partner D'Banj and the ensuing implosion of Mo'Hits.
Announcing the birth of Mavin Records, Jazzy thanked the media and fans for their support through the past months and whilst admitting that there were many unanswered questions, unsolved mysteries and unhealed wounds the master beat creator and image maker is passionately counting on the same level of patronage which he said was behind the overwhelming success of Mo'Hits.
For starters, Mavin which resonates rather well with Marvel is fielding former Mo'Hits stars like Tiwa Savage, Dr Sid, Wande Coal, D'Prince and of course the Don himself so we must be in for a Mavinous - sorry - marvelous time!!!. According to the first official press statement from Mavin, there's much more to come - some new unnamed acts in the works of the Mavin music factory. Well, the SPY says - Let the music play, we're listening.
POST SCRIPT - MAVIN is pronounced MAY, VIN (NOT MAR, VIN) as our play of words tends to imply although we believe MA(R)VIN would have been more "User-Friendly".
