The first Kestyle African Beauty Showcase was recently held
in Port Harcourt, the famous Garden City of Nigeria’s Rivers State. As the name
implies, “the aim of the event was to highlight the abundant beauty of Africa
through my designs”, the show’s organizer Kesiena Germany tells the Spy.
Highlights of the show which took place at the trendy Klubb
Illusions included a thrilling children’s runway walk besides the regular models’
catwalk and the massive audience was in for a treat as the exclusive designs on
display were later put up for sale at special promotional prices.
Some of the region’s top artists including Burner Boy, Mr
2Kay and the Ijaw Boiz were on hand to round up the occasion in grand style. Photos by Amy Media.
