"I'm not on Facebook or Twitter" - Jackie Appiah

If you're a fan of Ghana's leading actress Jackie Appiah then you want to hear this.... Her Facebook and Twitter accounts are all fake because she's neither on Facebook nor on Twitter. So all the accounts you see on the two popular social networking sites are run by impostors - never mind if they call themselves "The Real Jackie Appiah" or "I'm Jackie Appiah." The Ghollywood star who is currently filming on location in London told a Ghanaian blog that she did not know who are behind those handles and also wondered how they obtained her personal photographs. She said she suspected they may be some of her Black Berry Messenger (BBM) contacts who have  managed to secure access to her photos. The actress revealed that she will soon be launching her own website and also disclosed that she will be starring in a Glo television commercial in South Africa after completing her current filming in London.

  1. This is amazing and revealing because its one thing to set up a fan page or look alike page so that everyone knows the correct status of the person but to impersonate a person let alone a well known celebrity is totally out of order as gullible members of the public could be easily tricked into doing things under wrong pretence.
