Drunken-loud-mouth Davido beaten up by police in Abuja

Drunken rant - Davido told to zip it or else...
Miniscule and pompous Nigerian  teen star Davido was given the dirtiest slaps of his "Aje butter" life last week by an angry police officer the Spy has just gathered. According to Nigeriafilms, the musical upstart was given the lashing he'll never forget after he became drunk at the recent Nokia Rap Battle and started running his mouth at a police check point in Abuja. As the small convoy of cars conveying him and other guests from the show's venue to their hotel was stopped for routine check at one of the familiar road blocks
that characterise Nigeria's highways and byways, the boozed-up pint sized singer "jumped out of the car and started boasting - don't you know me, what the fuck is wrong with you guys?" He was still shouting and questioning why the Mopol had dared to stop their convoy when the slaps landed  - accompanied by a promise that some gunshots will follow if he didn't zip it. It was at this stage that his host - one of the show's organisers pleaded with the enraged officer and quickly bundled the little man with his tail between his legs into the car. The report added that on reaching the hotel the big-headed loud mouth turned his alcohol-fuelled rant on the very host who saved his arse at the check point shouting him down and telling him not to speak when he (Dvido) was speaking. The Spy says - Davido may come from a wealthy home and making progress on the Nigerian entertainment scene but if he lets substances and fame get to his head then he'll not go anywhere near the BET nominated  Wizkid who despite steadily bagging international acclaim  remains well grounded and humble. For one thing don't go near drugs and if you can't handle alcohol then stay away from that too because I can assure you that if you get "Locked up" Akon's Konvict Music can't get your arse out... And one last thing - now that you've attracted the Spy's attention better be on your best behaviour kid because my beating's more than the Mopol's and I don't take prisoners. Trust me.
